Following the very special ‘Southern Love Bus’ interview from Ramblin’ Man 2016, JD SIMO and I met up again, this time in Brighton at the end of the year for a follow-up feature for a Christmas week hour special. Brighton seemed a perfect setting for the return of the love (tour) bus, but this time we had to do battle with extreme weather on the seafront for another spontaneous interview. Plenty of funny moments, profound musical intelligence once again from JD – and some serious reflection on world events.
