FEATURE INTERVIEW: SIMO & THE SOUTHERN LOVE BUS

Recorded during Ramblin’ Man Fair 2016, this interview with JD SIMO was my last of the day and arguably the most fun. Situated to the side of the main stage, and competing with its sound, we shielded ourselves from the booming PA system behind parked tour buses and a fire truck – and JD Simo’s ‘Southern Love Bus’ was born as the interview ended wandering off in a fun tangent. This feature hour, was re-broadcast a couple of times following listener requests, which is why it has taken a while to go up on listen again. An equally amusing follow-up feature was recorded for a Christmas special in 2016, which will be added to this site for listen again soon.

If you enjoy this interview, you will also find on this site an interview short with SIMO ahead of their 2016 Brighton gig and a contribution to our Freddie Mercury tribute show.
