Feature interview #1,627 in the ongoing series: A new chat with Spike, Nigel and Luke from the Triangle, London in May 2024 as they offered a special private show for fans that pre-ordered the box set of the new album ‘Wardour Street.’ A big audio apology from me on this one. It was a fine spring day, but there was a deceptively strong breeze outside and I had the wrong cover on my mic, so you will hear a strong breeze at the start and end of the piece. It may sound a little like a storm, but it was actually a fine spring day with a light breeze. Despite the ambient sounds, a band interview full of character, fun and positivity – reflecting where the band are now.
At GMS we have followed Spike’s story for the last 10 years and through each step of his recent chapter. After all the noise on social media two years ago, Spring 2024 marks the return of Quireboys after UK sell-out shows and headline festival slots. The next chapter of the story is the new album ‘Wardour Street’ out this September.
