KYLE DANIEL AND THE COUNTRY REVIVAL
During these difficult times with everyone isolating at home, I’m running a special series for the month of April – every day at midday a new Great Music Stories artist hour special going online, hopefully something helpful to help some of you get through the day. Maybe put a smile on your face, maybe an hour’s escapism. It’s a time to be useful and I hope music and band stories can help.
Today’s hour is a cracker – recorded a couple of weeks ago in London with Kyle Daniel. An hour where we explore Kyle’s music and discuss the country boom in the UK. We also reflect on world issues and discuss the vinyl revival. A rounded and inspiring conversation.
We also gave a quick chat with local girl Claire Lloyd from Central Press at the end: Claire set up the London day and I thought it would be nice to hear about what Claire’s been up to beyond the world of media.
Music in the hour includes: The Allman Brothers, Austin Jenckes, Grand Funk Railroad and As Sirens Fall.
And if anyone wants a bit of company or a chat whilst listening, do swing by on Twitter @GuyB_rockshow between midday and 1pm and say ‘Hi.’
I hope this story inspires you to dig deeper and check out the bands featured. This hour will be online to enjoy for the next few days so do share it with your friends.
