On 23 June we aired a 13-hour ‘spirit of Wildfire’ marathon broadcast on local radio – a day that showcased the music of 100 new bands and raised support for the return of Wildfire Festival in 2019. Johnny and Tim from Tarot Rats supported the day and came in for a chat. They talk about the grassroots scene, the importance of Wildfire in the festival ecosystem, we do the rocker’s cheese board with Johnny and Tim talks about supporting Wayward Sons at The Forum. In between the two interviews, Nikki Smash returns to do the rock weather forecast. The audio quality is lower res than usual as we didn’t record much of the day, but the character of the interviews here shine through.
