FEATURE INTERVIEW: COLOUR OF NOISE – FROM HRH IBIZA

Following the sad news from the band’s management that Colour of Noise were disbanding, on 14 March 2017 I aired a three hour special, re-airing highlights from three feature interviews I conducted with the band during 2016 – which together offer a record of the band’s evolution and story.

This interview is the second of the series of three – part of an hour special recorded in glorious sunshine at HRH Ibiza in May 2016 and aired in July as a drive-time special. The band discuss the creative process, touring plans and their musical influences and the features gives a real sense on how the band worked together as a unit.

My third interview with the band of 2016 – a Christmas special from Brighton – is already on this site to enjoy as listen again

Some bands slowly evolve over decades – others pass us by more briefly like a shooting star. The music from Colour of Noise will live on for years to come. The Great Music Stories interviews hopefully capture a positive reminder of the band at a creative high.
