Feature interview #1,639 in an ongoing series. Here’s the full, unedited version of a feature interview I did with Ian from Amongst Liars a few months ago, from which an edited eight minute clip originally aired on my Monday show.
This interview captures the essence of a band on the rise. On the back of a sell-out French tour, the band were starting the countdown for the release of Album 2, ‘By Design,’ and looking ahead to the album tour dates. Ian also took some time to cover off a chapter of our ‘Music in Numbers’ series in part 2.
A week or two after this interview, we were first to review the new album as April Album of the Month. A month later, Amongst Liars were called Band of the Decade, as we marked 10 years of broadcasting by reviewing the relative achievements of all our marvellous Bands of the Year.
