For the ninth calendar year, we kicked off 2023 with our New Horizons series – a series of more than 70 artist interviews shorts – giving each act an opportunity to discuss hopes, plans and dreams for the year ahead. A small selection of these interviews have been added here for listen again, together they represent and interesting moment in time to hear about band plans and to offer some positivity at a grey time of year.
Here we showcase Absolva who work to a successful business model and outlook that many young bands could learn a thing or two from. The band had a good run with us on the rock show earlier this year and will no doubt feature again when I return to the airwaves in the months ahead.
