SHORT INTERVIEW: MATT MITCHELL – THE RETURN

Colour of Noise was a band we covered heavily during 2016 through four hour-special interviews in just 15 months, including an on location hour for their Christmas gig, which proved to be their last. Following a feature interview with Matt in 2018, we broke his new single ‘Black Diamonds’ before New Year 18 and it snowballed to have a run of 10 consecutive rock shows as 2019 got underway. The single gave a nod to the CON sound but we have a feeling the forthcoming album will open up into new creative territory, showcasing Matt’s diversity as a songwriter. To mark the single being our most requested song of January we spoke with Matt on the phone just before its official release date. More interview content coming in the months ahead. Watch this space!
