MATT JONES: CREATIVITY INSPIRED THE ARTIST – PART ONE

Audio interview feature #1,695 in an ongoing series.

A long overdue catch-up with Matt Jones, many know as the writer and creative force behind the enormous and impressive Twister Illusion catalogue. Matt talks openly about his journey through and emotional time, giving an authentic insight into mind of a creative as he prepares to move forward as a solo artist. Twisted Illusion were a regular feature in the early years of my rockshow and they were a creative highlight of the Modern Rock Wellbeing Festival weekend in August 2020. The original interview was a 90-minute one-take tour de force, too long to enjoy in just one sitting, so we’ve decided to serialise it. Part one here, the next instalment to follow later in July.

If you enjoy the piece, do take a moment to check out Matt’s Twisted Illusion recorded archive at https://twistedillusion.bigcartel.com – there’s so much fine music to enjoy.
