For the ninth calendar year, we kicked off 2023 with our New Horizons series – a series of more than 70 artist interviews shorts – giving each act an opportunity to discuss hopes, plans and dreams for the year ahead. A small selection of these interviews have been added here for listen again, together they represent and interesting moment in time to hear about band plans and to offer some positivity at a grey time of year.
Here Rob and Duncan talk about 2022 and reflect on their impressive Top 4 finish in 2022’s Band of the Year vote, as well as bagging Album of the Month and twice-winners of Band of the Month. An impressive band that has had a strong connection with the Friday show. Dunc will be hosting a few shows while I’m having a break from the airwaves and their music will no doubt feature again when I return to host my show in the months ahead.
