In August 2019, Scarlet Rebels were our band of the month and also scooped album of the month – the first time with us a band won both in the same month. To mark the new album ’Show Your Colours’ I did an interview series with Wayne from the band on the stories behind the songs. The series ran for 5 weeks, and here for listen again are the first 3 segments – part 2 will follow! The interview was done by phone, Wayne was on a mobile somewhere in deepest Wales. In parts 1 and 3 the audio quality is variable, but in the spirit of rock n roll, it’s still a story that needs to be shared for listen again.
