April 2019, I had a catch up with Shane from Those Damn Crows over the phone. A band we got behind early during 2016, who then turned heads in 2017 when they won our Band of the Year public vote – ‘Rock N Roll Aint Dead’ featuring on 48 of our 52 weekly rock shows during that year. Possibly the most emphatic live band on the scene, during this call Shane reflected on the band’s rise with Earache Records and the band’s organic reputation for show-stealing performances across the country. Rumours circulating the band has news coming this Friday – it may be details of another Great Music Stories Christmas special….or it may be something far more profound!
