A wonderful range between barmy and deep reflective conversation from Nikki Smash, which frames well the band’s countdown to releasing their brand new album. Nikki talks abut mental health, his music beginnings, influences and the creative process. We play a jukebox game with a bag on Minstrels and The Sound of Music makes a bizarre cameo. Nikki also had a six week run as our rock show weatherman and his first clip is featured in this interview package. Our band of the week during February, this hour was rebroadcast in response to listener requests in March and the band also have three tracks playlisted on my Friday rockshow in the countdown to album launch on 6 April.
