The lemon drizzle cake saga dates back to my interview with Josie from Tequila Mockingbyrd at the start of 2017. This evolved into a ‘bake-off’ battle of the Australian bands – Tequila Mockingbyrd Vs. Massive, scheduled for Wildfire Festival 2017. A week before the actual bake-off, I interviewed both bands at Stone Free Festival at the 02 Arena and both bands talked big about their credentials for the baking challenge – as well as talking music and other things! This feature gives a good insight into the characters behind the music.
